The saintly man of God, an icon and oracle for many priests and Bishop emeritus of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu died exactly 1.15 pm on 14th November, 2008, at Niger Foundation Hospital Enugu aging approximately 89 years old. He is a colossus of a personality, a rare gem and to say the least, the saint of our time.
Funeral mass for him will be said on 3rd December, at St Theresa Cathedral Nsukka; vigil mass on 4th December, and burial mass on 5th December ,2008 at Holy Ghost Cathedral Enugu.
